(b. 1987, Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine)

Eliza is a Ukrainian artist of Georgian descent working in the fields of visual and performative practices. In 2016, she earned a Master's degree in Monumental Painting from the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts.

Her work explores themes of trauma, familial and autobiographical memory, place, and identity. Through an interdisciplinary approach, her practice reveals the interconnectedness and transformations within sociocultural and natural landscapes, focusing on performance, drawing, objects, and texts as forms of response.

Eliza investigates movement and transformation, emphasizing their participatory and performative nature. Her methodology is empirical, rooted in cyclical processes where action becomes the key component, and the selected materials serve as a foundation for its emergence.
